Each flight lands as one dated folder: the full-resolution photo set organized by vantage point, a 4K flyover, the orthomosaic and surface model where the program includes them, and the stakeholder cut. Files arrive on a cloud link within three business days of the flight, sooner for a milestone you need in the next owner meeting.
The archive is the product. Two years in, a question about when a slab was poured, where a stockpile sat, or what the site looked like before a change order is answered by opening the folder for that date.

Flying safely over an active site
Every flight runs under FAA Part 107 with airspace authorization secured before the first visit. Many Dallas-Fort Worth job sites sit inside the controlled airspace around DFW International, Love Field, Addison, Alliance, and the smaller Class D airports, and we handle LAANC authorization during planning rather than on the morning of the flight.
On site, we coordinate with the superintendent, schedule flights around crane operations, and plan flight lines that keep the aircraft clear of crews rather than over them. The pilot follows your site safety orientation and PPE requirements, and a certificate of insurance is available before the first flight.

Site, schedule, milestones, what each stakeholder needs to see, and the cadence. You get a program quote per site, priced per flight, in writing.

Airspace authorization, the master flight plan, and the fixed vantage points are set on the first visit, which also documents existing conditions before work begins.

Scheduled flights
Each visit repeats the plan. Flights take one to two hours on site and never stop the work. Weather holds are rescheduled within the week.

A dated folder per flight within three business days, plus the time-lapse and the closeout set at completion.
How often should a construction site be flown?
Weekly or biweekly during earthwork, foundations, and structure, when the site changes fastest, then monthly through finish-out. Milestone flights are added where the schedule needs a record, and the cadence can change as the project does.
What do you need from the general contractor?
A site contact, the safety orientation, and a window when cranes are idle. We handle airspace authorization, flight planning, insurance paperwork, and everything after the flight.
Can you overlay our site plan on the aerial?
Yes. We georeference the orthomosaic and can overlay your site plan or a PDF drawing for a visual check of layout, laydown, and logistics. Certified layout verification and construction surveys are performed under your Registered Professional Land Surveyor; we fly and process the data under their direction when the project calls for it.
Can you fly downtown or near an airport?
Yes, with authorization. Most of Dallas-Fort Worth sits under or inside controlled airspace, and LAANC authorization for a job site is usually granted during planning. Sites that need a manual FAA authorization take longer, so we start the paperwork the week you sign.
How much does construction progress documentation cost?
Programs are quoted per site and priced per flight, so a monthly program for a twelve-month build has one number for the whole schedule. The quote depends on site size, cadence, and whether each flight includes mapping deliverables. Dallas-Fort Worth carries no travel fee; the rest of Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana are quoted with travel up front.
Who owns the imagery?
You do. Every photo, video, and dataset is delivered in full resolution and belongs to the project. We ask permission before showing any of it in our own portfolio.
